Show an audience of international bankers and executives the future of payments technology by creating a marketplace that allows them to experience it first hand. Visa needed to convince its bank customers to step up and invest in core technologies that would enable a global roll-out of contactless payments.
We took the audience shopping in the marketplace of the future. Guests were armed with prototypes of contactless cards and mobile phones enabled by payment technology. Visitors experienced seamless purchase exchanges from the points of view of both the consumer and the merchant. This primed the pump for a later keynote from the CEO about how contactless cards, mobile phones, and the like would alter the future of commerce.
